A little behind the scenes on how the Stands illustration came to be.

Rough sketch

For the Stands illustration, our aim was to create a complementary pair with Faces. This time, our focus was on showcasing the triangular stands that accompany our figures, featuring 8Ball Cat tube riding on one of these stands.

Refined sketch with additional details

Following the concept of the Faces illustration, we utilized wave shapes to craft a circular motif, capturing the dynamic surfing action of 8Ball Cat in a frame-by-frame style. This design pays homage to our passion for animation.

Final result

In the final rendering, we incorporated colors that complemented the palette used in the Faces illustration. Following a consistent theme, we used bold lines and vibrant colors to accentuate the sense of movement.
